Rather, we create grassroots solutions that face the challenges of rural India head-on, turning them into stepping stones for students, women, and underprivileged communities.
Student support
At the JOASRA Foundation, we are of the opinion that a child’s potential should never be restricted by their circumstances. With our student support program, it is not just a matter of providing books and uniforms, as we are creating a whole ecosystem of growth and development through our evening tuition centers, where currently, over 100 students meet every day in a safe and bright space, receiving the individualized mentorship and guidance that they need to succeed in life by bridging the gap between the challenges of rural life and the classroom, and providing these bright young minds with the tools, the inspiration, and the daily encouragement that their biggest dreams and aspirations may become a reality.
Women empowerment
As a team at the JOASRA Foundation, we believe that the key to changing a village is to change the woman in it. Our women empowerment project is not about aid; it is about empowerment. We have successfully created over 10 women empowerment teams with the specific goal of helping our women in the villages develop the skills necessary to lead their own lives. We are not just helping women in the villages find work; we are helping them find their own voices. We believe that the key to a woman standing tall in the future is the power we give her today.

Medical support villages
At the JOASRA Foundation, we understand that the distance between you and a city should not be the distance between you and quality care. Our medical support program is designed to bring vital health services right into the heart of the underserved village, so that no family is ever left behind based on location or financial situation. We're not only treating illnesses, we're creating a foundation of health and self-worth in our communities, so that everyone has the strength and the ability to thrive and grow together.
